I found this workshop very interesting and helpful in learning the correct terms relating to this subject. At first it was quite hard to get my head around, but I found as I put what I had been told into practise into fell into place and became a lot clearer. It was also interesting looking at the grids within newspapers as it was something that I hadn't really considered or noticed beforehand even though now, after seeing it, becomes so obvious.
