- the template will automatically update all pages 'born' from it
- after column 1 > insert > template objects > editable region
- repeat with other columns
- file > save as template > change name to 'template' > update links: yes
- delete 'index.html' from 'practice web' folder
- file > new > page from template > create ... file > save as > 'index'
- repeat with other pages
Creating buttons
- open Photoshop
- new > width: 180, height: 100 resolution: 72, colour mode: RBG, background contents: transparent
- create button and duplicate
- file > save for web > choose compression: jpeg (solid background), pmg-24 (transparent) > quality > save (keep file extension > home1 ... hide original and show italic > repeat process
- go to template > insert > image object > rollover image > give name: home button > find saved images > alternate text: home button > when clicked go to > index.html
- save > update: yes
- repeat for other pages
- if all buttons don't fit you need to separate the navigation
