After completing my pattern designs for the wallpaper samples I had them printed out. I chose a slightly textured stock that was off white as I thought it would give a more authentic appearance than a smooth crisp card. I was really pleased with the effect this gave as it links with my textured theme very well and adds to the effect created on the patterns themselves. To give the designs a more luxury feel I developed the pattens to include foiling highlights. I felt that this was an appropriate process as it reflects the use of gold commonly used within objects of importance to the Balinese people.
